Product: Comet2009Workstation407.exe Version: Comet 2009 Build 407 Date: December 8, 2009 Download the latest release now! Comet 2009 requires Server Products 9.00 or higher. CosW 1. Corrected a problem in CopyFile. The file would not get copied if CopyFile needed to create a dir alias folder on the client.
Changes in previous releases: Build 406 CosC 1. Comet will shutdown automatically if it detects the computer is about to hibernate. Previously a "stack error" from NTVDM.EXE could have been reported if the computer went into hibernation. Build 405 CosC 1. Corrected a problem that could have caused a Windows event to be missed thus causing dialog-based programs to malfunction. This was seen most often on dual-processor machines. Build 404 CosH 1. Corrected a problem that could have caused a crash if an attempt was made to do a dosrw of more than 2048 bytes. This function is now limited to 1024 bytes. 2. When using the XAP send control you may now enclose a filename in quotes. You must do this if the name contains blanks. Build 403 CosC 1. Corrected a problem that was causing a 30 second pause before the launch of html documents. This problem was introduced in .402. 2. Corrected a problem that was causing incorrect file information to be returned by the (FileStatus) mnemonic when running on a CometAnywhere client. Build 402 CosC 1. Corrected a problem in CopyFile that was preventing the destination folder from being created even if requested when doing a remote to local copy. Build 401 Comet32 1. Corrected a memory leak problem. Build 400 Comet32 1. This includes an alpha release of Comet32. Use a /32 command line argument on your shortcut to Comet.exe to give it a try! Corrected a problem in XAP that was incorrectly processing the number of units requested for EXPIRE. Build 399 Comet32 1. This is the alpha release of Comet32. SetGlobal memory is now persistent in both directions between enterlevels. 2. Corrected a problem with SetGlobal that could have caused a crash if used with successive ENTERs. 3. A new method for configuring the directory associated with a spool device has been implemented. Instead of using the full path you may use an asterisk followed by the Comet directory name: Spool = SP1,*SPL; SPL is the directory name. It's path is specified in the DIRECTORIES section 4. Copyfile is now able to copy files from a CometAnywhere workstation to a drive or UNC path not served by the file server. 5. XAP was pausing too long every time it wrote a large packet to the tcp/ip stack. This time was shortened making xap web pages perform much better. Comet.exe 1. Eliminated a debug messagebox that was displayed if a .dll was copied to the client during Comet startup.
