The following MTB mnemonics are available through the Comet Fax DDL.
Note: These fax mnemonics can be written to the fax device in any sequence.

| (FAX Config File=ARG1$) | ARG1$ (79 characters) specifies the path to the FAX Driver Defaults File (DOS format). Comet configuration will include this file name for the fax device. |
| (FAX Cover Page) | Enables the cover page in the facsimile. Note: The (FAX Cover Text) mnemonic also enables the cover page. |
| (FAX Cover Text= ARG1$) | ARG1$ (80 characters) contains the text for the facsimile cover page. Automatically enables cover page text option. A maximum of 36 lines of text is supported on the cover page. |
| (FAX Delete) | Deletes facsimile documents even before transmission. |
| (Fax Delete Job=ARG1$) | ARG1$ (2 characters) is the CAS event handle. Removes a submitted fax job from the CAS job queue. |
| (FAX Delete On Send) | Deletes facsimile document upon transmission. |
| (FAX Fine Resolution) | Transmits the facsimile in fine resolution mode (196 lines per inch). |
| (FAX From=ARG1$) | ARG1$ (31 characters) specifies the contents of the FROM field on the cover page of the fax. |
| (Fax Get Job Status=ARG1$) | ARG1$ (2 characters) is the CAS event handle. Returns the complete CAS Control File structure on the next READ/INPUT. |
| (FAX Logo File=ARG1$) | ARG1$ (79 characters) specifies the path to the .PCX Logo file to be used on the cover page of the fax (DOS format). |
| (FAX No Cover Page) | Disables the cover page in the facsimile. |
| (FAX No Delete) | Saves facsimile documents even upon transmission. |
| (FAX No Page Headers) | Disables page headers in facsimile. |
| (FAX Normal Resolution) | Transmits the facsimile in normal resolution mode (98 lines per inch). |
| (FAX Page Headers) | Enables page headers in facsimile. |
| (FAX PCX File=ARG1$) | ARG1$ (79 characters) specifies the path and name of the .PCX file to be sent as the fax (DOS format). |
| (Fax Phone=ARG1$) | ARG1$ (46 characters) specifies the phone number of the destination fax machine to which the fax will be sent. |
| (FAX Send Date=ARG1$ | ARG1$ (8 characters, MM/DD/YY) specifies the date on which to send the document. A null value indicates the current date. |
| (FAX Send Time=ARG1$ | ARG1$ (5 characters, HH:MM) specifies the time of day to send the fax. A null value indicates the current time. |
| (FAX Submit Job) | Passes the completed fax to the CAS Manager. Returns the CAS event handle on the next READ/INPUT. |
| (FAX Text File=ARG1$) | ARG1$ (79 characters) specifies the path to the text file to be sent as the facsimile. |
| (FAX To=ARG1$) | ARG1$ (31 characters) specifies the contents of the TO field on the cover page of the fax. |
| (FAX Write Config=ARG1$) | ARG1$ (79 characters) specifies the path and file name (DOS format) to which to write the current fax controls. Must be written before the fax device is closed. |
